Hit by uninsurred, she got ticket but still WON in court!

What is the name of your state? GA

She hit me (she had TX license) and recieved a ticket for reckless driving. She lied to police and admitted to doing so to my friend who helped her secure her bumber. Went to court today, she lied to the judge that she had insurance (but no proof). I showed the letter to the judge that I recieved from my insurance company (4 days ago) stating that she has no policy with the company that she provided to them. Judge said her word against yours, she got off completely free.

Damages are costly even if my insurance company pays (time off work to repair truck, going over limit for time to fix, and obviously the deductable.

Is it a waste of more money to try to take her back to court?
