Someone hit my car that was parked on the right side of the street in CA. He's claiming that since it was not parked legally, (it was extending about ~2 feet into the crosswalk) he's not responsible for it. The car was at the very end of the block and was hit, (I assume,) while the other guy was attempting to make a right-turn, but I would think that hitting an inanimate object, it's all his fault.
