What is the name of your state? FL

My friend has auto insurance. He set it up with a large down payment and the first four monthly payments for a total of 6 months worth of coverage. He paid for the final and fourth month, However, he sent 2 sperate checks to pay his policy. The insurance company received one of the checks however the other may have been lost in the mail. Is it possible for an insurance company in FLA to cancel a policy because they only received half of the payment that could have been possibly lost in the mail?

Yes, because they simply did not receive the payment. It is not the responsibility of the receiver to make sure the mail is delivered. It was your 'friends' responsibility to insure the payment was received.

By the way, please keep your posts together. No one will attempt to answer you if they see a number of posts by the same person all over the board.

YO YO YO PIMPPY BOI:

Does you friend have the intelligence to use a telephone?

He could have called the insurance company and paid by phone in less then 15 minutes and avoided any problems.

Also does he know how to use a computer? He could have checked his bank balance on line or at an atm, and see for himself he had too much money in his account. (eg the check wasnt paid)

So why didnt he pick up the phone and pay over the phone with his checking account or by a credit card?

By being so stupid, and backwards and not up to date by NOT reading his policy , he screwed himself but good.
