How do I survive untill my settlement?

My case is very strong,but during the time I was out of work my bills did not quit coming in.I have horrible credit,no idea as of now when my case will be settled,& no matter how hard I try to catch up,things keep getting further behind.I'm still going to the doctor & therapist,so none of those companies that give you loans based on your case can help yet.Any ideas on where to find help?

Bankruptcy,
Talk to creditors and renegoiate your loan agreement.
Borrow on your 401 k
See a loan shark.
Quit smoking.
Prostitution.
Settlements can take years to recover and are not guarenteed to be what you want so I would advise bankruptcy then when you get your settlement maybe you can hang onto it next time.
