I am not sure what to do.

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
MICHIGAN.On July 15th I was involved in the 3 car accident.
I was stopped at the red light, car behind me didn't stop on time and struck me. And I struck car in front of me. I didn't get ticket. The driver who struck me did.
Well, the driver in front of me filed the claim against me to cover $500 insurance + costs in the small claims court.
According to the letter from the court, we first go to mediation.
What do I do? Is there any chance for me to avoid paying.
Please advise, I so don't know what my options are if any?

That is the guy you both should be going after. Provide Driver 1 with driver 3's insurance information.

Actually, what you do is report everything to your insurance company and then you do whatever they tell you to do.

Yes, that is what should have been done in the first place.
