I need serious help with a car accident

This was in Michigan, Today i was at a friends house and my girlfriends car was parked outside, when someone turned the corner to hard and smashed into her car. We didnt hear it but it backed up and took off. A friend down the road came down and told us and they saw a white car speed off. We searched the sub and couldnt find one and gave up after an hour. we searched the area where it was hit and managed to get some peices from the head light that got smashed from the other car .. it reads this :


ssan nal 2be9 (3 or 8) 9007usa

and under it it says :

dot L


This is not the whole thing in whole but its all we could get from what we have.
Next I figured ssan is a nissan. and 9007usa is the bulb type. but it is used in these cars:

1. File a police report.
2. Contact your girlfriend's insurance company. Generally, in MI, each driver is responsible for damage to its own vehicle anyway, regardless of fault, except when the vehicle is legally parked. Therefore, since she would normally be responsible anyway, she should pay her deductible, and have her vehicle repaired.

With so many vehicles using those lights, it will be hard for you all to figure out who damaged it.
