Back in July my mother was mugged at TOPS supermarket. The purpetrators were convicted and sentenced. Unfortunately, my mother has had continued medical problems. She is currently in physical therapy and it is uncertain if she will recover. She has been unable to return to work and has a great fear everytime I take her shopping. It hurts me how much she has changed and how much she has to go through. Is there any recourse she can take against the supermarket for current and future damages? I am unsure where to turn. Please help.
