About 8 mos ago I cut my hand very badly on a shelf in a store, received about 10 stitches and narrowly escaped surgery as my tendon was cut. I filled out an accident report in the store later (which they did not give me a copy of)and forgot about it. Now I am having some discomfort and difficulty with one of my fingers. Do I have a case?

You would have a stronger case if you typed a few words wrong.
Yes, you may have a case. You need to see a doctor for evaluation.

I was reaching up to a shelf I probably should not have been because there was no sales help. Would that cause me a problem? And what about my not having a copy of the injury report from the store? Good news is I have a witness.
