My son was injured at sea, on a commercial fishing boat/processor. He had to fingers amputed on his right hand, and the index finger is mutilated. The insurance agent is coming fri to meet us and start talking. We have no idea what is fair, for compensation. I looked up maritime injury compensation, but the agent tells us this is not workers comp, but rather, the jones act. Any help out there? Thks, Carrie
