Florida's minimum coverage is $10,000 personal injury protection (PIP) and $10,000 property damage liability (PDL) as long as you have a valid Florida tag.

You may want to consider more than minimum coverage to protect your assets.

Your question implied that you thought new or young drivers have different requirements then other drivers. They don't. If all you wanted to know was the minimum coverage in Florida, google could have answered you easily ('minimum auto insurance florida') but you got the answer here to. Anything else you need to know?
