What is the name of your state?Indiana
I got into an accident last night (the 5th around 10 pm) and my insurance was due to expire on the 5th at 1201 am. I mailed my payment on the 2nd and it should be sitting in the PO Box of the insurance company right now. According to their policy, they say that the postmark date is what is used to reinstate the policy. Do you think i will be covered? I am very scared that i will not be. Can they decide not to cash the check, or to just cancle me, even though i mailed the payment before the accident happened?
