My ex husband was an independent insurance agent and was investigated on charges of insurance fraud (pocketing premiums). He was never convicted. He turned in his license and lost his business. I have legal documents with the charges against him. Anyway, he was suppose to have our son covered by his insurance company. We live in different states so I did not find out that my son wasn't covered by insurance until I took him to the doctor and they told me the insurance card was no longer valid. Has my ex committed a crime against me or rather my son (with his fraud and non-compliance)? Thanks for any help you can give me.
