What is the name of your state? Massachusetts

My wife was involved in a auto accident on 12/18/03. She aggravated an exsisting injury to her wrist. She has been to a doctor and he filled out the accident form indicating she would be unable to work for 12/18 to the present. The time to return to work was filled out "unknown" The insurance already indicated they will pay for lost wages.
My wife was also eight and a half months pregnant at the time of the accident. She is entiled to eight weeks disability pay through her employer.
Can she collect both the disability (maternity), and lost wage pay at the same time? She plans to return to work mid March. Will the insurance pay her lost wage time until then since the doctor filled out "unknown"?

Thanks
