Insurance wont pay off my car

What is the name of your state?FLORIDA
I was in a recent accident and called my insurance company to come and appraise the damage done to my car. They told me it was a total lost and that when they pick up my car, they will send out my check. So I called them every day, at least 10 to 12 times a day trying to find out how much I would be receiving. All I got was them giving me the run around, sending me to different extension and having me leave messages. When I would get to speak to someone all they would say is that they don't know and that the adjuster is not in at the moment, to leave a message. So I would still ask them how much would I be receiving and they said that they would call me and tell me the amount that I will receive when they picked up my car. When they finally picked up my car 5 days after they declared it a total lost I called them and they told me the same thing, that the adjuster is not in and to leave a message. When they finally got through to an adjuster they told me that I would only get $6,930. Then I told them that I owed more then that on my car. They told me that they could only give me blue book value for my car. I replied “so why am I paying full coverage if you're not going to fully cover me?" The next day I went and spoke to them in person and explained to them that I am a full-time student and that I have a child that I have to support. I then explained to them that the money I did make was involving me using my car because I worked part time at a currier service. Now that I don't have the car I can't make money, so I can't pay anything off and I can't support my kid. So I wouldn't be able to pay the debt that they are leaving me with, without having a car. They told me sorry and that they can't do anything for me.
So if there is anything I can do to get the insurance to pay off my car, then please let me know. Thank you

no, if you wanted them to pay off difference between what you owe and what the car is worth you should have gotten gap insurance.

As much as it sucks....they're right. They will only pay the fair market value. They aren't responsible for finance chrgs and such.

Just asking was the accident 100% your fault?
