What is the name of your state? TX
I was in the Cayman Islands and had an auto accident in a rental car that was my fault. Upon renting the car I declined insurance because I thought my U.S. policy covered. My insurance company has declined because they do not cover outside the U.S. Any input?

dont go back to the cayman islands.

Did you use a credit card to pay, hopefully a gold American Express? If you paid by CC, call the credit company and see if the card carries car rental insurance or at least covers any deductible you may be responsible for.
