On August 21, 2000, I injured my right wrist when a duct lift I was using to raise some ductwork malfunctioned and dropped the mast of the lift onto my right wrist. I have filed a claim with the South Carolina Worker's Compensation and that case is still pending.

My question is: To what extent can I legally hold the Rental Company and/or DuctLift Manufacturer responsible?
I have some disability in my right hand. The Hand Doctor has diagnosed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome resulting from "Sudden Trauma" to the right wrist. Could someone tell me my legal recourse in this matter? Thank You Robert Craigo
