In Kansas:My daughter was given a ticket for leaving the scene of an accident. She was drving a van & did not know that she backed into anybody. There was no damage to our vehicle, and a 3 inch scuff on the other vehicle. Does the city have to prove that she had intent to leave the scene?How can she be found guilty of leaving an accident that she didn't know she was in?
