What is the name of your state? maine. my wife was injured by another employee at her work, she went to the doctor and was told it was a sprain. she was in pain constantly so we went to the doctor again over a year later and was told she had chipped bones in her ankle from the accident( a guy pushed a cart weighing over 500 lbs into her hitting her ankle and knee) she then had to have surgery. workers comp took care of her until the physical therapy was over then closed her case.now its been almost 2 years and she constantly has problems with that leg including not being able to stand for long lengths of time. we cant seem to gat a hold of the comp agent and are getting the run around. what is her best option here? does she have legal right to compensation?is it the doctors fault for misdiagnosis?we dont know what to do but why should she have to suffer for the rest of her life for someone elses fault. can anyone help me please? also she never filed a comp claim personally, should she get a lawyer? thank you for your help... ray
