What is the name of your state? Indiana

Quick question. I am selling a vehicle to another person and basically letting this person borrow this vehicle to go to and from work until I get the titlework done. I am supposed to get the title by Friday and of course this person gets into a minor accident on a school parking lot. Me not knowing that her son was driving the vehicle who the officer said has a expired license form another state. To make things short I still have full coverage on the vehicle but since I was not driving the vehicle am I liable for the damage to the other vehicle or is the driver of my vehicle? I also do not currently know the outcome of the police report, but of course the way the driver of my vehicle makes it sound, the other vehicle was at fault. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Usually insurance is tied up to the car, not the driver. Check with your insurance company. They would know, and also will ultimately determine who is paying, based on police report and driver and witness statements. The guy who was driving should have given some insurance to the other party, what was it?
