What is the name of your state? PA

Does limited Tort apply when someone from another state is at fault?
What is required to meet personal suffering threshold under limited Tort law.

In Pa. when you choose limited tort on your auto ins. pol., you generally give up your right to sue for pain & suffering for injuries you suffer in an accident. However, there are exceptions to limited tort that would allow you to collect money for pain/suffering. One of the exceptions is the at fault driver is driving a vehicle licensed in another state.
Each pain/suffering case is considered on an individual basis as to the amt. if any, you will collect & there are various requirements according to the situation.
