This is a confusing question. Will give discription: I was in an auto accident in 98,case still pending, and suffered disc herniations and disc collapse and nerve root involvement.Had spinal fusion as result. In surgical report it stated they overdosed me and had to antidote me,because of the possibility of significant bleeding the discotomy that was originally scheduled with the fusion was not done. The doctor that performed the surgery is the specialist that addressed the causation issue in my case.OUESTION: I have continued to have problems. My fusion isnt netting, As a result a myleogram was ordered. It revealed that one of the screws went in on an angle and out the other side of the vertebra into the soft tissue. I also have a new buldge at the level above the surgery site. Is this a malpractice issue with regard to the screw? Both the surgeon and the primary did not disclose this problem, but the myleo report did.And how does this affect my pending law suit for the car accident? Can the surgeon back down for supporting my accident claim because of this? I live in Canada, but understand that U.S. law is recognised here. thank you.
