What is the name of your state? Missouri
My wife and daughter were traveling in Missouri and were hit in the rear while thet were stop in a traffic jam. My daughter had some minor injuries and seems ok now. Is she entitled to any compesation and is there any rule about how much? We got some fliersin the mail and they say 3 times med bills. Is that about correct? We live in Illinois if that matters. Bills were about $800 and they offered us $1100. Thanks.

In most states, there doesn't need to be "serious permanent injury" in order to be entitled to compensation for pain and suffering or "general damages." $300 for the inconvenience of some minor injuries that are completely resolved now seems fair to me.
