A friend of my husbands that ended up in prison left 2 motorcycles with us when he was incarcerated for payment of a debt he owed to us. We never got the titles to these bikes. We have tried to contact him, but with no response. we have had the bikes for 3 years now. We checked the numbers here in Texas and neither has been registered here. One of them had Georgia plates and we check Georgia too, and they had no record of the bike. They are 71-72 Sporster type bikes. Is there any way to get titles for these? Any information would be appreciated. We are in Austin, TExas. Thank you.
