My Brother...

Hey, hope somebody could settle a simple dispute.
My brother asked to borrow my vehicle this winter and I said that he could. He slid off the road and hit a tree totaling ~$1500. I had to repair the damages with my own money because I only have liability insurance and since he left the scene, no claim was filed to the insurance. Since my brother is a minor, is anybody required to compensate me for the damages?

**A: yes, your brother is required to but only if you force the issue.

that was quick. All they had to say was that they were not going to pay me and have not offered to help with any of it. thanks for the advice!
