My car being sold by someone other than me

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maine

If a picture of my car with the license plate in the picture, has been printed in a magazine with a for sale sign, but i did not post it there.

Who can i complain to, besides the magazine, for doing this?

The for sale is actually for the building behind the car, but that's not how the readers may understand it.
My car just happened to be standing there when the picture was taken.

The magazine assured me that it is the building being sold. And don't want to remove the picture until the paid advertise time is done for it.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

If the magazine is not specifically selling your car, you have suffered no damages and have no claims against anyone.

You can complain to the people who posted the ad (the building owners), but they are also not obligated to actually do anything.
