need advice

What is the name of your state? Michigan

I need some advice on an impending situation. My brother is home on leave form Iraq right now. He bought a car while he was home and asked if I would register it in my name and also put it on my insurance. I had no problem with that. He now informs me that he wants his girlfriend - who I don't know anything about - to drive this vehicle across the country so that he can have it waiting for him when he gets home from Iraq. I have tried to explain to him that I don't think this is a good idea and I don't want this to happen. What exactly can happen if his girlfriend where to get inot an accident on the way back there? Would I be liable or would she? I really appreciate any advice that you have for me.

It is a good idea to include her in your insurasnce policy as a friend.
