need advice on lawyer

KY. I had a car accident i was rear-ended and i was hurt i hired a lawyer and he is not doing a good job.i have only spoke to him one time since nov. everyone is telling me i have a crook for a lawyer.can i fire him and get another lawyer?I would like some advice.Thank you.

Why do you think he's a crook? Is it because he hasn't talked to you since november? Are you currently treating for injuries?

Alot of times the attorney doesn't really care until your treatment is done. Then he'll order your records, submit a demand to the insurance company, and attempt to settle. I wouldn't expect to hear from him every week.
