| Need advice regarding car accident

On Sudnay my wife and 5.5 month old daughter were rear ended. The damage to the car "appears" to be pretty minor, but the impact was severe enough to dislodge the dash. The other parties were pretty beligerant and rude and were wanting to leave until I and the authorities arrived. The other parties were issued citation for following too close and fault of the accident.
My wife is very sore (neck, back and hips). She called her doctor and made them aware of the complaint. My daughter didn't rest well that night and the next morning she didn't want to move her head fully. Took ker to pediatrician and was dx with a sprained/ strained neck. Giving her Motrin/ Tylenol and she is doing better.
Neither spent any time in ER or hospital. The fact that they hurt my little girl and their attitude pi**ed me off. What should I do? Besides the damages to the car and a new car seat, what else are we entitled to? I have never been in this position and don't know how the pain and suffering thing goes. My wife hasn't missed any work (she wouldn't unless she couldn't walk). My daughter has been pretty miserable today and into the night. You can tell she hurts when she turns her neck and the worst thing is that she doesn't know what's going on.
Please help.
