NH - Uninsured Auto Claim

NH I have coverage through Met-life & auto. Almost 2 years back I was chased by 4 motorcycle's while riding my horse. Met's insurance adjusters are admitting I have the appropriate coverage but are denying the claim stating I made the whole story up. Today they offered a nuisance settelement of $2500.- then $5,000 and said they would not disclose their top end number and their process is to go up by very little at a time. After the mediator's 3rd visit with them the mediator came back and said just go home.
I have never made an insurance claim in my life and pay for plenty of covereage. I am wondering who is rich enough to fight these people. My medical bills are over $30,000 lost work (not to much for I worked flex time with my employer), prescription costs.
We asked for the amount of money out of pocket $36,000.- I am covered for $250,000.
I understand Legal loop-holes they can afford to exploit but what happend to: Legal, Moral and ethical?
I just want to pay back my Health insurance company, my out of pocket expenses and now my lawyer fees.
So let's ask again why are our premiums so high?

I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you fighting your insurance company or someone else's? What kind of claim are you trying to make? And why don't you have a lawyer?
