no fault accident

michigan- three years ago, got into accident. i rear ended a woman , was ticketed for failure to stop within an assured distance. now i get notice she is suing for pain and suffering, mental anguish,lost wages, various other vague physical complaints. i had no fault insurance at the time, how can she sue me personally for compensation in excess of 25,000 dollars?! please respond with any info on this subject. thanks kj51594
