I was rear-ended by a college student driving his father's truck. The insurance on the truck expired 7 days before the accident. My car was totaled, and I sustained some neck injuries. Now, I can't get in contact with the kid or his father. I called the police and they wrote a report at the scene of the accident. I had no uninsured motorist coverage or med pay. What can I do?

Was it reported to the police?
