What is the name of your state? Minnesota

I was in an accident last Saturday. I do not currently have insurance, I just went to my cousin's house to pick up something. Their neighbor backed into my car and damaged it. Will her insurance company pay for the damages even though I was not insured? Will I get in trouble for being there without insurance? I live in a no-fault state....PLEASE HELP!

**A: although you live in a no fault state, it is still your fault for driving with no insurance. The neighbors insurance should pick up the tab.

Thank you! Will it make a difference that I was not in the car at the time?
**A: yes it would since there is no law that requires you to have insurance if you are not driving the car. And no it would not, as far as settlement.
