What is the name of your state? CA

My mom was in a car accident. The police report says she's at fault with 2 other parties involved. we received a notice to appear because she ran a red light.

What should i be expecting at the court date? Should we have an attorney with us? Will other parties in the accident be present as well?

Thank you!

It's best to at least consult an attorney.

The first hearing will be an arraignment. The other parties will NOT be present. They will likely only be subpoenaed if the ticket goes to trial.
