Ny Identity Theft

What is the name of your state? NY
My case is the following,
A friend of mine and I agreed to share a car only if I register the car under my name and insure it. she would make all the payments to the insurance co. . She had a restricted license. a few months ago she got into an accident with the vehicle in NY and used someone elses license to report it. a few months later, she got caught speeding with the car and once again used this license. my question is... Can charges be brought upon me for the car being registered to me? The car still has her name on the title but Im the registrant.
i need help... thnx

If you know she has a restricted/suspended license and continue to let her use the car and she causes damage/has an accident, you are almost certainly going to find yourself as a defendant in a lawsuit.
