OH: Personal injury mitigation

What is the name of your state? OHIO

Can anyone comment on the use of a mitigator in a personal injury case? Personal injury is result of car accident no-fault, and medical bills will be high. (>$50,000). Action is for underinsured provision in auto policy.

Am thinking of firing my attorney (unacceptable representation) and using court-appointed mitigator. Pre-trial is scheduled in 6 months, nothing else on docket.

Any comments?
