What is the name of your state? Utah - the accident happened in California.
Over twenty years ago I was hit head on by a drunk driver (who died) and had my medical expenses at the time paid for - a broken ankle, cuts, etc. I also received a small cash settlement from the other driver's insurance company.
I am now faced with A/C shoulder joint surgery - very likely caused by the impact. The seat belt crosses directly over the joint and is the most likely explanation for the degeneration I have experienced.
Any chance this cost for the surgery would be covered by any insurance pool?
