pain & suffering,lost wages

What is the name of your state? TN
I met an accident 5 wks ago in arizona.I avoided a big trailer truck that crossed over our lane and fled the scene,we rolled over many times and hit a tree,my fiance' died on the spot..I was airlifted and brought to the hospital, have CT scans and xray..had minor injuries but I was affected emotionally..I had grief reaction, anxiety attacks, traumatic stress and pain..My doctor gave me 10-12 wks of medical leave without pay.My medical bills went up to almost $35000.I had coverage for compre and collision, uninsured motorist of 50k/100k.We rented a car but my insurance said that they will not cover me for that because I dont have rental coverage. They told me that I will be covered under uninsured motorist but my fiance' is not..Isn't he under bodily injury liability? What about pain & suffering and my lost wages?will they also cover me for that?
Thank you so much...Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Rather than have us try to GUESS your coverage, what did your agent say when you asked?

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

OP, I'm sorry for your loss. Your situation is far too complex to rely on a message board for legal advice.

You should have a consultation with an attorney regarding your claims under your policy.

Did your fiance have a Will? Does he have children? Do you have children together? A claim for his wrongful death belongs to his Estate. Your insurance may provide coverage under the UIM coverage, or if you are deemed responsible or partially responsible for the wreck for faulty evasive action, your liability coverage could apply. The representative of his Estate should also consult an attorney to learn about the Estate's claims.

Thank you for the replies...What do you mean by Estate?I'm sorry to ask..I'm all new to this..I am from a foreign country and all this things..laws..insurance policy are new to me..
He has children on his ex-wife..no..we dont have children..I tried to consult a lawyer but he said that I have to get a lawyer from AZ because that's where the accident happened..I have to go home to my country and recover that's why I wasn't able to get a lawyer from AZ.
I don't know if he has a will..My insurance said that I will be considered a hit and run and if I have a witness I will be covered under uninsured motorist. They had already interviewed my witness..They said that I can have coverage up to 50k.They also said that I must made the final settlement before they will pay all my medical bills..Under what policy then will my fiance' be covered? Is it necessary that his family will be the one to file a claim? Can his ex-wife do that for the children?
Thank you so much...

Your fiance's next of kin (probably his parents) can make a UMBI claim on his behalf. Your claim is separate. You should consult a lawyer from AZ as soon as possible.
