Good morning, I'm in Connecticut. I have a 21 yr. old son, we are registering his car in his name and he will have his own insurance policy. He goes to college, and this year will be living in an apartment. We do help him with college expenses, but his student loans are in his name. We claim him as a dependent on our taxes. If he should get in an auto accident and gets sued, as his parents, can we also be sued.
