can a lien be put against my house and or property if my 18 1/2 yr old son is involved in a car accident and his car insurance lapses?
he lives at home, and works part/time and attends school fulltime, his car is in his name only, however, this is something i need to prepare for, as i have been helping him pay for his car insur. ,but for a short time only.

Unless his name is on the deed to the house or your name is on the insurance as the principle, no. He is now an adult and as such, is responsible for his own actions.
