Passed on right but he was stopped in middle of road!

Chicago, IL


A car stopped in middle of road to see if restaurant was open. Didn't move after I blew my horn. Didn't know how long he was going to sit (two lane road) Passed on the right as traffic was busy on the left. He struck me when he decided to turn into restaurant. Insurance rules today that not only will they not pay for me, but I am responsible for his car. Is this right, have I no recourse. He was irresponsible and obstructing traffic.

You were irresponsible and passed on the right. Two wrongs do not make a right. You do not present a defendable defense. Time to pay.
