Pending Court Date

STATE: New Jersey

Briefly: Sitting at a red light. When the light turned green, I proceeded to drive straight. The car opposite me makes a left turn and smashed into my left front side. It happened so fast, I felt the thump of the crash before I knew what hit me. There was a kid driving with a "junior" license with no registration at 11:30p.m. Police give the kid two tix. One for no registration and one for the accident. The kid's father comes to the scene, takes pictures and tries to tell the officer it's my fault. The officer advises me to make sure I make it to court because the father was an a$$. Should I get a lawyer? The father seems like a sneak.

Who's insurance paid for the accident? Are the cars repaired?

Just happened Friday night

My sister works for State Farm ins and says I should go through their insurance company to avoid paying ANY deductibles.
