    Permission/Liability Release Form

My State is Arizona, Our church kids are going to a Camp, The driver which is my mom, and myself who is the passenger in the 15 passenger Rental Van will be leaving Monday -
However, we had all the parents sign a Permission/Liability Release Form, it states :Release and Waiver
Just simple and to the point that they can not sue either the driver, passenger, Rental compnay, or the church is anything was to happen.

Out of 12 application , the father of two children (divorced parents) refuses to sign in, he thinks the church should have some sort of responsibility -

Question is : Can the church sign a waiver for My mom and myself from being sued if a accident was to happen , so that this person can not sue us ?

We can not afford to be sued or shoud he just write "refused" on his line where his name goes-?

Forget the Release and Waiver. The church cannot legally have their negligence waived by the passengers in their van.

What your mom should insist upon is that the church have at least $1 million auto liability coverage for the van and list your mom as a permissive driver. Anything else and your mom is flirting with disaster if a major accident happens.

No difference. Make sure the van has sufficient insurance coverage and your mom is listed as a permissive driver.
