Personal Damage to a truck


I live in ohio and on a saturday night i got into a fight with a person. After the fight i went out side and punched the tailgate of his truck. It has now been aprox. 2 weeks and is now asking for me to pay for the damages. are the any laws saying how long you have to make a claim? PLEASE HELP!!!

You damaged a tailgate by punching it?

You're responsible for the damages. Pay up or else the other person can take you to court.

While there is a statute of limitations, two weeks is nowhere near it. Pay up!
