What is the name of your state? Texas

I AM THE OFFICE MANAGER FOR A CHIROPRACTIC CLINIC, WHO EXCEPTS PI PATIENTS, PIP AND THIRD PARTY. i AM HAVING ONE HECK OF A TIME GETTING PAID. THE INSURANCE COMPANIES IGNORE ASSIGNMENT OF BENEFIT SIGNED BY PATIENT FORMS. i JUST HAD ANOTHER CASE THAT i HAD A SIGNED AND CERTIFIED INTENT TO BECOME A THIRD PARTY. THEY STILL SENT THE CHECK TO THE PATIENT, AND AGAIN WE DID NOT GET PAID. ATTORNEY'S ARE ALSO IGNORNING THE LOP'S AND NOT PAYING THE DRS. BILL.hOW AND WHAT FORMS DO i NEED TO FILE, TO ENSURE PAYMENT OF THESE MEDICAL SERVICES. VERY FRUSTRATED! THANK YOU.

Other than suing the patient for not paying, there isn't much you can do. Some insurance companies expect the patient to pay you and then they are sent the check for reimbursement. You also have to realize that some companies do not recognize Chiropractic treatment as a legitimate treatment form and will not cover it.

You need to tell these people to pay at the time of the appointment or forget it. Hire yourself a medical billing/insurance claims specialist to work in your office, they will know more about handling such stuff than you do, and you will find that in the future, they will more than pay for their wages in the problems they solve for you.
