What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Texas

I was rear ended and my car was totalled. The person who hit me admitted fault and the car was paid off.
However, I was hurt from the wreck and saw a physical therapist for 3 months. I had my last visit yesterday and now I am on my way to settling the claim. I am not looking for a big windfall, I just want a fair offer which is why I have not seen a lawyer. Does anyone know if there is a standard formula used when calculating a settlement offer, like 3 times the cost of the medical bills or something like that?

There is no formula. Only you can determine what amount will make you satisfied with the settlement. If they don't offer you enough, ask for more.
