My mother-in-law was given 10 miligrams of cumiden instead of 1 miligram by Wal mart pharmacy. After taking the wrong cumiden for 10 days she fell and broke her arm. Needless to say she started hemoridging and was rushed to the hospital where she was in intensive care for several days and was in the hospital for several wks. Several Drs. stated she would not live due to the fact she had soooo much infection in her arm. She did pull out of it and finally went home. Wal mart knew the day she was admitted to the hospital it was their fault and took the blame. It has been 2 months and they want to make a settelment they are wanting us to tell them am amount we would settle for. We have no idea how much to tell them. My mother in law is 77 yrs. old and she has already had another stroke since this happened and is going to have to see a bone specialist also. She has suffered trememdously and will never be able to use her arm. We live in Texas.
