Property Damage to Neighbor's Rental House

    Texas

While backing out of my driveway last evening, I accidentally hit a wooden post supporting my neighbor's car port. The property is a rental, and I would be more than happy to replace the post for them. However, would it be best to have me, my neighbor, and/or my neighbor's property's owner sign a legal agreement that I will not be pursued for further compensation? Does the owner need to grant permission for the replacement before my father can do it? How should I respond if they ask us to replace the entire car port? Thank you very much for your help, and happy fourth of July!

You neighbor (renter) has NO standing to release you from obligation, if any, to the OWNER.
Contact the owner, let him/her know of your actions and see where it goes.
There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) filed in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.7M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
