| Question about an accident that occurred 9 months ago. (Help)
I live in California and 9 months ago I got into an accident. I had no insurrance at the time. I hit this lady and I gave her all my information since it was my fault. I told her to go and estimate the car so that I will find money and pay for it. I didn't want the police to get involve. Anyway, the lady never call me back. I thought she let me sly since nothing was wrong with her car. However, today I just received a call from her ( 9 months from the date of the accident). She told me that her car couldn't pass the smog check and the reason why was because of the accidently that cause 9 months ago. She think I should be the one paying for it. Should I pay for this or not?? estimate over 1000 dollars for fixing. I don't feel right. Please help me guys |
