Two vehicle accident accurred at residential corner where attorney believes fence built at corner obstructed the driver's view.

Complaint file because this fence was built between my mom's home and neighbors. This neighbor built fence on their property, but not on boundary line, between their homes. This neighbor, who is also on this corner, is included in complaint filed.

Mom is on SSI and recently found out that she doesn't have homeowner's insurance to cover this case. Attempt to contact plaintiff's attorney but no return calls.

How can 75 year old mom get legal assistance to file response that she is not responsible and with limited attorney fees?

Unless the fence was built without a permit when there was one needed or is in noncomplicance with the building and zoning codes, then Mom is not liable.
Call your local Legal Aid office, the State Chapter of the American Bar Association, State Office for the Elderly, AARP Chapter etc.
If Mom does not have insurance, it would be wise to get some coverage. If the home were to burn down in a fire she does not have the money to built a new one.
