Rear end bump

What is the name of your state? Florida

I was stopped at a stop sign ...moved up a bit to go into traffic and stopped, went to go again and stopped slowly and did the same again when I was bumped into from behind. I pulled over and the car that bumped me pulled over too. I have a dent in my back bumper and he had a broken turn signal. He is claiming my fault and that I could not decide whether to go or not and i think he should pay. We did not contact law enforcement and I did have my daughter with me other than that there are no witnesses. We exchanged information and I called him the next day after this happened and my insurance company had been trying to call him also regarding my claim. He will not return calls. Advice on this matter please. Course of action that is to be taken.

Thank youWhat is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?

Let your insurance company follow up. If not you'll have to sue him for the damage in small claims court.

In general, since he hit you from behind, he is at fault. BUT, why do you need to stop and start so many times at an intersection?

There are intersections where the visibility is bad enough that this is required...

I don't keep starting and stopped. I simply wait until I am first in line, and pull ahead far enough, know what I mean?
